Musculoskeletal Therapy

Musculoskeletal therapy is a more advanced therapy involving the assessment, treatment and maintenance of musculoskeletal pain and discomfort.
In order to successfully treat a condition a full assessment is required – this involves postural evaluations, neurological and orthopaedic testng and biomechanical/movement assessment. The aim is to identify the cause of your pain or discomfort thus allowing for a more targeted treatment.
A treatment may include the following techniques:
Soft tissue treatment through massage, myofascial release, cupping or trigger point therapy.
Joint mobilisations using the Mulligan concepts and Maitland’s techniques
Dry needling and electro needling
Sports taping and exercise rehabilitation.
Home care through exercise prescription.
